Chemical Etching & Precision Photo Chemical Machining

Chemical Etching and Precision Photo Chemical Machining

Photo chemical machining has become a versatile and strategic method of creating custom shapes and forms using ultra thin metal of various compositions. The process eliminates many of the problems inherent with other manufacturing methods such as stamping or laser cutting. Because it is a photographic process, the fine details that can be reproduced far surpass other methods of production. Our source has been in business and servicing Arizona manufacturing orders since 1978 and has the reputation of successfully tackling projects outside the normal boundaries of other chemical etching companies. Their willingness to experiment and explore low cost tooling methods and options allow them to create parts that stretch the limits of design and configuration.

Quality
  • Plan – All parts are inspected to C=0 Sampling Plan which determines the number of parts dimensionally inspected. Generally, parts are inspected in sheet form in a zig/zag pattern. If a part is found out of tolerance, those parts immediately surrounding that sample are also inspected. This pattern continues until there are no incorrect parts on the sheet.
